POOL UPDATE
Currently Medallion Pools of Asheville is completing the first stages of the repairs that are necessary to the main pool at the Lake Club! These repairs will improve the structure of our pool for homeowners and guests. Over the past few weeks work has been concentrated around the vanishing wall and the internal shell that surrounds the underside of the pool. Some of the repairs include; re-tiling and fixing the leaks around the vanishing wall's edge, repairing and sealing the internal leaks to the pools shell, and fixing surface cracks. Repairs will continue over the next few weeks, so please pardon the mess as the pool is being repaired. If there are any questions regarding the pool, please contact Resort Operations Manager, Matthew Dellinger at 828-293-3763 or matthew.dellinger@terramesaresorts.com

The Shadow of The Bear
Rhodes Big View Overlook on Hwy 64 at Whiteside Mountain
Between Cashiers and Highlands, NC

The shadow, cause by Whiteside Mountain, is visible between 5:30 - 6:00 PM the last half of October and into early November. It is again visible the last half of February into March. The 750 feet tall cliffs of Whiteside, are the highest shear cliffs in the eastern United States. That should give you some idea of how large the bear is.
This is a favorite capture of many visiting photographers to our area!
