Restaurant at Lake Club

Just a friendly reminder to all of our owners and guests, Restaurant 553 at the Lake Club will be open Saturday from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM for dinner and Sunday 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Please call to make reservations as we reserve the right to remain closed if there are not enough reservations to warrant opening. Also, please note that Restaurant 553 accepts only debit or credit cards and Bear Lake AR accounts may not be used for payments to 553 Restaurant. Please join us in supporting the restaurant.

Pontoon Boat Rental

Pontoon boats will be available for 1/2 day rentals beginning April 15, Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM. Additional rental hours will begin in May. Please note the attached bulletin concerning the new North Carolina Wildlife regulations. Rentals of pontoon boats will adhere to all North Carolina Wildlife rules. Please make your reservations early (828-293-7414) if you are planning a day on the Lake.

Opening day for the Bear Lake Golf Course is just around the corner. We want to remind everyone that golf professional Dick Howard will be operating the golf course and Pro Shop this year. Bear Lake Reserve AR accounts may not be used to pay for cart and green fees or for items purchased at the Pro Shop. The method of payment needs to be cash, debit card, or credit card. Opening day is set for April 15, with the course being open Thursday through Sunday, 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM for the remainder of the month. We look forward to a wonderful season at the golf course and to seeing each of you at the Lake.

Attention Bear Lake Reserve Owners

With Spring in full swing and Summer right around the corner, now is the time to plan for this year's family vacation or weekend getaway. Bear Lake Reserve's rental program has over 20 luxurious cottages and condos to choose from with prices starting at $178.50 per night and $1,106.00 for the week. With any rental, enjoy either a complimentary round of golf or 1/2 day pontoon boat rental on us! This year, any guest who rents 2-6 nights will receive one complimentary round of golf for up to 2 people and guests who rent for 7 nights or more will receive one complimentary round of golf for up to 4 people plus a 1/2 day pontoon boat rental; "subject to availability". Mill Pond Pavillion changes

The building at Mill Pond Pavillion will now be locked when not in use. Homeowners or Guests wishing to use the inside facility will need to check out the key from the Greeter's Cottage. Homeowners and Guests will be responsible for any damages that occur within or the outside of the building during the use of the facilities along with being responsible for a fee in the event the key is lost or stolen.
