Memorial Day Weekend
Bear Lake Reserve is planning a great fun-filled celebration for Memorial Day weekend to kick off the summer season. Make plans to attend this event on May 28, 2011 to catch up with friends, neighbors, and family or make new friends. Hurricane Creek, a local band from Cashiers, NC, will provide live entertainment poolside at the Lake Club from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. This Rock/Blues band has been entertaining locally and regionally for the past 14 years and we look forward to their debut at Bear Lake. Our chefs are planning special food and drink offerings, the Tiki Bar will be open, and poolside service available. Bring the family down to enjoy the pools, however, remember that pool towels will not be provided by Bear Lake Reserve this year.
The Golf Course is open and Dick Howard will be happy to make reservations for you at 828-293-5005. Pontoon boats are available for rental and Gail or Brittany will be happy to make reservations for you at 828-293-7414.

Special Mother's Day Brunch
Mother's Day is Sunday, May 8, 2011 and Bear Lake Reserve is planning a special Brunch in honor of all Mothers. Special menu items will include Smoked Salmon and Quiches as well as our regular Brunch Menu. Chef Adam Blankenship will be preparing special Raspberry Godiva Cheesecake and Chef Slade Brooks will be preparing Creme Brulee. All Mother's will be treated to a free dessert and given flowers. Bear Lake Reserve's Nicklaus Design, Golf Course will open for the 2011 season this Sunday, May 1. Hours of Operation for May will be Thursday - Monday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Special Easter Brunch
Easter weekend is fast approaching and we are planning a fun Easter Celebration at Bear Lake Reserve. The Lure Restaurant will be serving a special Easter Brunch, Sunday, April 24 beginning at 10:00 AM and continuing until 2:00 PM. The Easter Bunny will hide eggs at the Lake Club and everyone is invited to come out and enjoy watching the children find the eggs.
